Government, Enterprises and Experts Join Forces to Tackle the Pain Points of Going Global
The forum was designed to build a platform for matching domestic and international risk management resources and to foster a long-term, stable mechanism for risk management cooperation. During the event, relevant officials of the Administrative Committee of the Fuzhou Area of the China (Fujian) Pilot Free Trade Zone introduced the development of the “Comprehensive Service Hub for Fujian Enterprises Going Global” and the policy measures by which Fujian Province supports enterprises’ outbound investment. Mr. Chen Zhaohui, Secretary-General of the Fujian Sub-Commission of CIETAC and Deputy Secretary-General of the Cross-Strait Arbitration Center, gave a systematic explanation of the support policies and compliance considerations for Fujian enterprises going global, and outlined the key compliance points and risk prevention priorities.
During the interactive session, participating entrepreneurs actively raised practical questions on compliance development, risk coverage, claims procedures and overseas operations, and the guests responded one by one, drawing on their hands-on experience. The discussion was highly engaging and built a broad consensus on jointly supporting Fujian enterprises going global. As the highlight of the event, the Fujian Branch of AXA Tianping and the Fujian Association of Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs signed a Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement on site, marking that the Fujian Branch of AXA Tianping has officially become the strategic insurance partner of the Fujian Association of Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs.
Mr. Lin Siping, Secretary-General of the Fujian Association of Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs, said at the signing ceremony: “When Fujian enterprises go global, the waters are rough and the winds are strong; what they need most is not the courage to venture out, but a professional ‘ballast’ for managing risk. By bringing in the Fujian Branch of AXA Tianping as the Association’s strategic insurance service partner, we aim to bring world-class risk management capabilities in-house, so that member enterprises can not only go abroad steadily but also go far, together upholding the gold-standard reputation of ‘Fujian Enterprises Going Global’.”
From “Ad-hoc Insurance” to “End-to-End Protection”
It is learned that the two parties will seize this signing as an opportunity to jointly build a full-cycle risk management mechanism covering “pre-event compliance advisory, in-process risk intervention and post-event efficient claims settlement,” upgrading Fujian enterprises going global from “ad-hoc insurance” to “end-to-end protection.”
Tailored to the profile of the Association’s member enterprises, AXA Tianping has designed a bundled property & casualty insurance package covering property insurance, marine cargo insurance, liability insurance, engineering insurance and group accident insurance, together with benefits such as dedicated premium rates and streamlined underwriting documentation. It has also assembled a professional risk control team to provide member enterprises with on-site risk surveys, hazard inspections and disaster prevention and loss-reduction guidance, while the two parties will jointly deliver specialized training on topics such as production safety and legal risk control.
Kevin CHOR, Chief Executive Officer of AXA Tianping, stated that this signing is a key step in AXA Tianping’s response to the national call to “expand high-level opening-up” and in capturing the dividends of Chinese enterprises going global. As a hub connecting the Group’s global resources with local needs, AXA Tianping embraces the philosophy of evolving from a payer into a companion, striving to be the “full-cycle risk partner” on the globalization journey of Fujian enterprises. He expressed his hope that, starting from this strategic cooperation, the “safety” of AXA’s global network will safeguard the “prosperity” of Fujian enterprises as they go global.
