From May to June 2026, AXA Tianping welcomed intensive visits from insurance delegations across Algeria, France and Thailand. As a wholly-owned property and casualty insurance subsidiary of AXA Group in China, AXA Tianping has long strived to act as a bridge facilitating foreign investment inflows and Chinese industry expansion overseas. By deepening cross-border exchange and mutual learning, the Company advances opening-up-driven development, actively supports high-standard opening-up, and fosters an international industry ecosystem.
On May 20, a 14-member Algerian insurance industry delegation visited AXA Tianping’s Jinqiao office in Shanghai. The delegation consisted of core representatives from SAA National Insurance Company, CAAR Algerian Insurance and Reinsurance Company, and UAR Algerian Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies, with Huawei and Zhongke Soft participating as special guests. During the exchange session, Philip Yu, Chief Operating Officer of AXA Tianping, shared the Company’s experience in serving the domestic real economy and Chinese enterprises going global via the Group’s global network. Li Heyong, Director of the Information Technology Department, and Hu Yiliang, Director of the Project Delivery Management Department, presented the implementation outcomes of cloud-native architecture, AI intelligent risk control and automated claims settlement. On May 29, the AXA Thailand delegation paid a visit to Shanghai. The group toured the ICBC-AXA Corporate Culture Museum and held in-depth discussions with AXA Tianping on topics including artificial intelligence application, digital innovation and prospective cross-market cooperation.
