June 17 witnessed the convening of the 2026 Beijing CBD International Financial Forum & CITIC Global Wealth and Investment Conference in Beijing. Centered on the theme “Wealth Fuels Growth, Investment Shapes the Future”, the forum gathered nearly 400 distinguished guests from financial, technological and research institutions worldwide to jointly explore new opportunities for global investment cooperation and long-term asset allocation. Relevant officials from the Beijing Municipal Government, CITIC Group, Chaoyang District and financial regulatory authorities attended the event, with a host of industry experts delivering keynote speeches. As a key international participant, AXA Group made a prominent appearance, sharing in-depth insights into global investment and sending a clear signal of its unwavering commitment to deepening its footprint in China’s market.
At the forum, Mr. Boris Moutier, Chief Investment Officer of AXA Asia, delivered a keynote address. He stated that investment acts as a catalyst for global growth. Against the backdrop of elevated interest rates and inflation, persistent market volatility and shifting fiscal policies, artificial intelligence has emerged as a pivotal driving force for economies and markets. While AI rollout unlocks investment opportunities spanning data centers and energy infrastructure, it also brings disruptive business models, overcapacity risks and existential challenges to market players.
Amid mounting global uncertainties and a shortage of high-quality safe-haven assets, China’s market has continuously revitalized economic growth momentum through new quality productive forces, demonstrating remarkable counter-cyclical resilience.
