AXA Tianping Wins Dual Honors with Projects Recognized as “2025 Financial Technology Innovation Award” and “Digital Transformation Award”
In a recent industry awards announcement, two projects submitted by AXA Tianping have been honored with the “2025 Financial Technology Innovation Award” and the “Digital Transformation Award,” respectively. This achievement fully demonstrates the company’s leading capabilities in independent financial technology innovation and digital transformation practices.
“AXA Tianping’s Self-Developed AI Middle Platform Practice Based on Open-Source Technology”
Won the Fifth (2025) “Jinxintong” Financial Technology Innovation Application Exemplary Case Award.
Adhering to the principle of “open-source technology as the foundation, self-developed capabilities as the core,” this project constructs a full-stack middle platform covering AI capability integration, model management, data governance, and intelligent collaboration. It addresses the pain points of traditional fragmented and inefficient AI applications, achieving “build once, reuse multiple times.” The platform provides core support for the intelligentization of insurance services and the company’s digital strategy. Standing out from over 700 national submissions, this project highlights our company’s innovative effectiveness and industry recognition in the financial technology sector.
“AXA Mee Mini Program Wave Plan Digital Transformation”
Won the “China Banking and Insurance News” 2025 Annual Insurance Industry Digital Transformation Excellent Case Award.
This project establishes a dual-engine system driven by an “Intelligent Marketing Middle Platform + Scenario-based Service Ecosystem.” Focusing on the optimization of the entire insurance marketing chain, it is dedicated to the innovative application of customer leads, expansion of premium growth paths, and reduction of conversion cycles. It promotes the transformation of direct sales business from “extensive promotion” to “data-driven, scenario-based services,” providing a replicable innovative model for industry digitalization.
Winning these dual honors represents high recognition for the collaborative achievements of AXA Tianping’s technology and business teams. The company will continue to deepen technology integration and business innovation, advancing steadily on the path of digital transformation to contribute more wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of the industry.
As we transition from the end of one year to the beginning of another, it is a time for reflection on our collective efforts and anticipation for the journey ahead. We are pleased to announce that AXA Tianping has been recently honored with multiple prestigious recognitions from industry authorities, our market peers, and the broader community. We would like to take this opportunity to share these significant achievements with you, as together, we work toward a strong and successful close to 2025.
The company has achieved meaningful progress across business growth, social responsibility, and professional innovation, earning a series of notable honors:
The Sanitary Water for Liangshan Project has been recognized by the authoritative industry publication China Banking and Insurance News with the “Golden Commitment · Annual Social Welfare Project of Financial Brands” award, commended for its innovative approach and measurable social impact.
In response to market needs and for its exemplary inclusive value, the “SME Employee Benefits Protection Plan” has been honored with the “Inclusive Financial Product Innovation Award” and was featured as an industry best-practice case in the relevant sector white paper.
In the area of employment promotion, the company has been named among the “Top 100 Foreign-invested Enterprises in Shanghai for 2024” under the category of “Top 100 Employment Creators,” reflecting our active contribution to local talent development and economic vitality.
These accolades not only affirm our historical commitments but also reinforce our dedication to advancing corporate responsibilities and serving the real economy. At the strategic cooperation level, we have achieved a significant breakthrough: during French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to China, AXA Group was invited to attend the 7th Meeting of the China-France Business Council and signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC). Pursuant to this memorandum, ICBC will act as a distributor for AXA Tianping’s insurance solutions. This partnership will significantly expand our market access by leveraging ICBC’s unparalleled client base and nationwide distribution infrastructure.
To further advance this major strategic achievement, on December 10, AXA Tianping joined hands with ICBC-AXA Life Insurance and ICBC Hongkou Sub-branch to carry out a joint Party-building activity. Concurrently, a strategic cooperation agreement was formalized with the Hongkou District Service Industry Development Office, laying a solid foundation for the company’s next phase of regional collaboration and integrated financial services.
The journey of 2026 is gradually unfolding. Let us remain steadfast in our focus, advance with purpose, and strive to fulfill all annual objectives. Together, we will confidently embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

On November 19, 2025, at the “2025 Golden Commitment · Financial Culture and Brand Building Conference” hosted by China Banking & Insurance News, the ” Sanitary Water for Liangshan Project” by AXA Tianping Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. stood out among numerous submissions and was honored with the 2025 Golden Commitment Award for Financial Brand Annual Social Welfare Project.
Held in Shenzhen, the conference revolved around the theme of “Building a Cultural Foundation, developing a Financial Power,” aiming to showcase outstanding practices within the financial industry in serving national strategies and fulfilling social responsibilities. This award for AXA Tianping reflects the industry’s full recognition of the company’s sustained commitment to public welfare and corporate responsibility.
Origin of the Initiative: Focusing on Water Health, Responding to Real Needs
The project was inspired by AXA Group’s annual employee volunteering campaign – “AXA Hearts in Action.” In 2024, AXA Tianping turned its attention to the Naituo Town Central School in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. At that time, the school had 17 classes with 712 students.
The sanitary conditions in the school’s area were substandard, with all teachers and students relying on untreated tap water for their daily needs. Prolonged consumption of such water posed potential health risks. Confronted with this reality, AXA Tianping collaborated with its charity partner, the Ayou Charity Foundation, to take action. Faced with this reality, AXA Tianping decided to join hands with its charity partner, the Aiyou Charity Foundation to deliver sanitary water to the students in Liangshan.

Innovative approach: Converting Steps into Donations, Extensive Employee Participation
From June 3 to 7, 2024, AXA Tianping innovatively launched a “WeChat Step Donation Challenge” through the “Emma by AXA” platform, converting employees’ donated steps into corporate matching funds. Within just five days, a cumulative total of 5,223 participants, including employees, actively joined the event, donating an impressive 31.41 million steps. All funds raised were used to install a reverse osmosis water purification system for the Naituo Town Central School.
This innovative public welfare model not only addressed the school’s practical difficulties but also enabled every employee to participate in philanthropy through their daily actions, truly embodying the concept that everyone can be engaged.

Project Deepening: From Water Purification to Comprehensive Care
On June 18, 2024, the reverse osmosis water purification system was installed. The following day, all teachers and students began drinking the treated purified water. This was not merely the installation of a piece of equipment but the establishment of a comprehensive healthy drinking water guarantee system.
Beyond installing the purification system, leveraging the “Children’s Home” established locally by the Aiyou Charity Foundation, AXA Tianping regularly conducts science-themed educational sessions on water usage for the children. They also provided health and water-related supply kits, including kettles, thermal cups, and hand soap, further cultivating the children’s health awareness and hygiene habits.
In October 2024, an AXA Tianping volunteers teamed up to return to Liangshan for a follow-up visit. The volunteers delivered engaging lectures on water health knowledge to the children and visited local students’ families to gain a deeper understanding of their lives and learning conditions.

Behind the Honor: Inheritance and Innovation of a Public Welfare Ethos
The success of the Project is no accident. AXA Tianping has participated in the “AXA Hearts in Action” volunteering activities for six consecutive years and simultaneously promoted localized public welfare initiatives across its 25 nationwide branches.
In 2025, AXA Tianping further collaborated with its sister company, ICBC-AXA Life Insurance Co., Ltd., to jointly conduct volunteering activities in Yuexi County, Liangshan. This project integration pioneered a new model of corporate collaborative public welfare, jointly fulfilling AXA’s mission and commitment to “Act for Human Progress by Protecting What Matters.”
The Golden Commitment Award is not only an affirmation of this single project but also recognition of AXA Tianping’s long-term commitment to pay back to the community, reflecting the company’s success in integrating global sustainability guidelines with local practices.
Moving forward, AXA Tianping will continue to uphold its brand mission of ” Act for Human Progress by Protecting What Matters .” It will place equal emphasis on economic benefits and social responsibility, persistently focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, and contribute the power of insurance to the high-quality development of the real economy.

安盛集团应邀出席中法企业家委员会第七次会议 与工商银行签署谅解备忘录
AXA Group invited to attend the seventh meeting of the China-France Business Council and signed a memorandum of understanding with ICBC
On December 4, the seventh meeting of the China-France Business Council was held in Beijing. Chinese President Xi Jinping and French President Emmanuel Macron jointly attended the closing ceremony of the meeting, delivered a speech, and engaged in discussions with representatives from the business communities of both countries.
During the conference, AXA group signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC). According to the MOU, both parties agreed to further deepen comprehensive cooperation in areas such as cross-border financial services, green finance, asset management, and risk protection, sharing resources and expertise to jointly explore market opportunities.
This collaboration not only marks a significant upgrade in the partnership between the two financial institutions but also serves as a vivid reflection of the continuously deepening economic, trade, and financial cooperation between China and France. Moving forward, the two sides will actively seize opportunities arising from the green transition and the development of the digital economy, working together to provide customers with higher-quality integrated financial services and injecting new momentum into promoting sustainable economic development in China, France, and the broader global economy.
It is reported that the China-France Entrepreneurs Committee was established in January 2018 under the witness of the heads of state of both countries, with the aim of promoting economic and trade exchanges and diversified development between China and France. The committee is coordinated by China’s Ministry of Commerce and France’s Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Industrial, Energy, and Digital Sovereignty. 安盛天平中小微企业员福保障计划荣获“普惠金融产品创新奖”并入选《2025普惠保险白皮书》最佳实践案例 AXA Tianping SME Employee Benefits Protection Plan Awarded for its Inclusive Financial Product Innovation and Selected as Best Practice Case in the “2025 Inclusive Insurance White Paper”
The “AXA Tianping SME Employee Benefits Protection Plan” was honored with the “Inclusive Financial Product Innovation Award” at the China Inclusive Finance International Forum held in October 2025 and was selected as a best practice case in the “2025 Inclusive Insurance White Paper.” This White Paper was first publicly released at the recently concluded “Second Siming Insurance Forum & 2025 Academic Annual Conference of the Insurance Society of China.”
In recent years, with the continuous national advancement of the inclusive finance strategy, inclusive group insurance, as a vital component of inclusive insurance, is gradually becoming an important tool for improving the employment protection of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In May 2024, the National Financial Regulatory Administration issued the “Guiding Opinions on Promoting the High-Quality Development of Inclusive Insurance,” further encouraging insurance companies to develop customized insurance products and improve service mechanisms for groups such as micro and small enterprises and flexible workers. This has clarified the direction for the development of inclusive insurance and provided an institutional foundation for structural innovation in group insurance products.
To precisely meet the genuine needs of SME employees in terms of medical protection, AXA Tianping launched a solution characterized by “low threshold, multiple coverages, superior service, and strong connectivity,” centered around the concept of “multi-tiered products + integrated health management services.” The entire employee benefits product system offers multiple coverage tiers, starting at less than 100 RMB per person per year, covering high-frequency risks such as accidental death, accidental outpatient/emergency care, and hospitalization allowances. Higher-tier coverage combinations extend to responsibilities including outpatient medical care, supplementary hospitalization benefits, and critical illness diagnosis payouts. While traditional insurance primarily focuses on post-event claims settlement, this plan, through deep integration with a digital health management platform, shifts and embeds protection services forward, downward, and routinely, providing employees with whole-process, all-scenario health companionship and support. This transforms insurance from being merely a “compensation tool remembered only when a risk occurs” into a “health steward” integrated into employees’ daily lives.
Since its launch in 2025, this protection plan has served approximately 525 SMEs, accumulating around 150,000 person-times of coverage. Moving forward, we will continue to iterate and update the plan based on feedback from corporate clients and market developments, supporting SMEs in enhancing their core competitiveness and empowering their high-quality development.
Recently, the 7th Shanghai International Artwork Trade Week commenced at the West Bund International Exhibition Center. Under the theme “Global Art Stage, Artistic Shanghai, Art-Enriched Life,” this year’s Artwork Trade Week brought together over 120 art events and more than ten thousand exceptional art pieces, accelerating the formation of Shanghai’s hundred-billion-level artwork industry.
On November 14th, a key event of the 7th Shanghai International Artwork Trade Week—the 10th Shanghai Dialogue Summit—was held in Shanghai. The forum focused on innovative development within the cultural relics and artwork sector, comprehensively reviewing the fruitful achievements Shanghai has made in leveraging institutional openness and serving the national cultural strategy. The event was guided by departments including the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China Publicity Department, the Shanghai Municipal Culture and Tourism Administration (Shanghai Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau), and the Administrative Committee of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Bonded Area Administration. AXA Tianping Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd. served as one of the event sponsors. As a company offering art insurance services, AXA Tianping has consistently provided strong support for the development of China’s cultural and art market.
This year’s “Shanghai Dialogue” featured two main thematic forums. Guests engaged in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as how to deepen institutional openness in the artwork sector and enhance the convenience of transactions, centering on issues including “Efficiency Breakthroughs and Innovative Pathways for Art Trading Centers under the Asia-Pacific Landscape” and “Value Reshaping and Strategic Practice of Artworks in Global Wealth Resilience Allocation.”
Among the participants, Jun Shi, China Director of AXA Art Insurance, joined the sub-forum “Value Reshaping and Strategic Practice of Artworks in Global Wealth Resilience Allocation.” She participated in a roundtable dialogue with guests and experts from organizations such as the China Association of Auctioneers, the International Finance Institute of Fudan University, Guardian Investment Holdings Co., Ltd., and Huayi International, sharing her professional insights:
“Art insurance is already a mature insurance category in Europe and the United States. Since acquiring Polaroid Insurance last century—the world’s first company to operate art insurance—AXA has become one of the world’s leading specialized art insurance providers. Internationally, the structure of art insurance is composed of approximately 60% private collector coverage, with the remainder comprising exhibition and transportation insurance, commercial art insurance, and so on. The demand for art insurance in China initially emerged from domestic and international cultural exchange exhibitions. Around 2011, China’s Ministry of Culture and the former China Insurance Regulatory Commission jointly launched an insurance pilot program to support the cultural industry, which also included art insurance. In this context, AXA Tianping emerged to meet the demand and entered the field of art insurance.
Our strength lies in our ability to provide customized art insurance services based on user needs. In addition to coverage for international exchange exhibitions, domestic exhibitions, and touring exhibitions, we also offer all-risk insurance for collectors, auction houses, galleries, and other dealers, covering various potential risks such as natural disasters and accidental damage. Our insurance terms are globally applicable. AXA Tianping can provide professional services across all these niche areas.”
It is reported that since its inception in 2015, “Shanghai Dialogue” has spanned ten years. As a core platform serving the construction of the Shanghai International Artwork Trading Center and the cultural opening-up strategies of the Pudong Leading Area and the Free Trade Zone, it has witnessed a decade of innovation and the growth of cultural brands in Shanghai’s cultural sector, reaffirming its original aspiration to “build an emerging international artwork trading center in the Asia-Pacific region.”
