AXA Stars

在安盛之星评选中，共有22位总部和机构同事摘取2022年度安盛之星，并分别获团结之星、勇敢之星、正直之星和转型之星。月刊将为这些同事专门开设“安盛之星的故事”专栏，帮助大家进一步了解安盛人践行安盛价值观的故事。

本月我们将为大家分享转型之星——精算部资深精算经理高争，正直之星——河北分公司总经理室副总经理李卓南的故事。

In the AXA Star contest , altogether 22 AXA colleagues from headquarters and branches are entitled to awards of AXA Stars in Transformation , Customer First , Integrity , Courage , and One AXA . This special column was set up for them so we can all know their stories in living the AXA values and making their contribution to the company’s growth.

This month we will introduce stories of our Transformation Star – Gao Zheng, Senior Manager of the Actuarial Department; and Integrity Star Li Zhuonan, Deputy Manager of the Hebei Branch Office.

转型之星——高争的故事

高争于2014年入职安盛天平，拥有8年的精算定价经验，主要从事车险技术建模以及定价技术应用落地的工作。随着车险综合改革的逐步推进，车险竞争日趋激烈，这对车险精细化运营提出更高的要求。作为精算部技术定价团队的核心成员，他不仅要提供精准的定价数据以及精准的技术模型，还需要为车险定价的全流程提供技术工具的支持，为提高全体车险定价人员的沟通效率以及定价能力贡献力量，让定价技术和定价工具助力总部以及全司机构提升能力转型，推动车险朝着精细化、智能化和数据驱动的经营模式转变。

Q：获得安盛之星是什么样的感受？

非常荣幸获得安盛的转型之星，让我感到非常的自豪和满足，在这里感谢我的领导、部门同事以及支持我的工作伙伴，他们一直在我身边支持我，帮助我成长，我将以此为契机，继续在精算定价方面努力发展，争取为公司做出更大的贡献。

Q：平时生活中有哪些保持自信、健康、快乐的习惯或者爱好？

我有两点可以与大家分享，一是养成积极思考的习惯，培养乐观的心态，学会从积极的角度看待事物，关注自己的成就和优点，以及寻找解决问题的方法；二是有自己的兴趣和爱好，看看脱口秀、舞台剧、游戏解说，让自己感到快乐和满足，增强自信心。

Q：可以分享最近在看的一本书、一部电影或一部剧吗？

最近在看一本书叫《王阳明心学》，觉得非常有意思，现代生活感觉每个人生活压力都很大，生活压力也会随之导致精神压力大，这本书主要的核心思想可以帮助我们更好的认识自己，学会与自我达成和解。阳明心学强调知行合一，在知中行，在行中知，认为只有将道德的认识付诸实践，才能真正体现出道德的力量和意义；同时心学也强调致良知和内省，注重自我反省和思考，并寻求改变和成长。

Transformation Star – Gao Zheng’s Story

Gao Zheng joined AXA Tianping in 2014 and has 8 years of actuarial pricing experience. He is mainly engaged in auto insurance technology modeling and pricing technology applications. With the gradual advancement of the comprehensive reform of auto insurance, competition in auto insurance has become increasingly fierce, which has put forward higher requirements for refined operations of auto insurance. As a core member of the technical pricing team of the Actuarial Department, he not only needs to provide accurate pricing data and accurate technical models, but also needs to provide technical tool support for the entire process of auto insurance pricing to improve the communication efficiency and pricing capabilities of all auto insurance pricing staff. He helps the headquarters and the entire company improve their capabilities to transform, and promotes the transformation of auto insurance towards a refined, intelligent and data-driven business model.

Q: How do you feel about receiving the AXA Star award?

It is a great honor to receive the AXA Transformation Star. I would like to thank my leaders, department colleagues and supportive work partners. They have always been by my side to support me and help me grow. I will continue to use this opportunity to develop in actuarial pricing and strive to make greater contributions to the company.

Q: What helps you stay confident, healthy, and happy?

I have two points to share with everyone. One is to develop the habit of positive thinking, cultivate an optimistic attitude, learn to look at things from a positive perspective, pay attention to your own achievements and strengths, and find solutions to problems. The other is to have your own interests and hobbies – watch talk shows, stage plays, game commentaries – anything make yourself feel happy and satisfied, and enhance your self-confidence.

Q: Any books or TV series you would like to share?

I recently read a book called “Wang Yangming’s Xinxue”, which I found very interesting. In modern life, everyone feels a lot of pressure, which will lead to mental stress. The core ideas of this book can help us know ourselves better and learn to reconcile with ourselves. Wang Yangming’s Xinxue emphasizes the unity of knowledge and action, acting in knowledge and knowledge in action. It believes that only by putting moral understanding into practice can the power and significance of morality be truly reflected. At the same time, the book also emphasizes the development of our conscience and introspection, focusing on self-reflection, and seek change for growth.

正直之星——李卓南的故事

李卓南于2019年9月加入安盛天平河北分公司，目前担任河北分公司总经理室副总经理。来到安盛的四年时光里，李卓南始终牢记公司“诚信正直”的价值观，以实事求是作为自己待人处事的原则，不掺杂个人喜好观点和感情色彩，一律以公司业务发展和员工个人职业发展为中心，确保工作思路的准确性、工作方法的正确性和工作目标的公平性。在与渠道的合作过程中，他会主动避免因为个人口头随意性的表达导致渠道合作过程中出现无法兑现的承诺，从与中介渠道合作伊始，便严格执行档案管理制度，所有方案、费用、行销支持一律以公司正式宣导版为准，任何人不得口头答应渠道和业务人员相关事项，确保合作渠道利益和公司利益。

Q:获得安盛之星是什么样的感受？

获得安盛正直之星，心中充满喜悦与自豪。这一荣誉不仅是对我专业能力的肯定，更是对我持续努力的鼓励。从此刻起，我将肩负更多的责任与期待，继续在职业道路上砥砺前行，为自己的梦想和事业拼搏。感谢安盛让我成为更好的自己，也感谢所有支持与关心我的人，是你们让我更加坚定地走向辉煌。未来的日子里，我将勇敢迎接挑战，用行动诠释安盛之星的价值，为安盛发展贡献自己的力量。

Q:平时生活中有哪些保持自信、健康、快乐的习惯或者爱好？

坚持步行上下班，作为一种健康、快乐、低碳出行方式，相比其他出行方式，步行上下班在时间利用上具有诸多优势。通过步行，我们可以保持健康的体魄，享受大自然的美好空气，增强自信心和意志力。此外，我们还可以在途中结识新朋友，交流生活经验，保持积极向上的心态。每天步行上下班不仅能够让我们更加健康快乐，还能利用时间总结反思，让我们成为更好的自己。

Q:可以分享最近在看的一本书、一部电影或一部剧吗？

最近又一次观看了《本杰明•巴顿奇事》，这部影片让我深刻体会到生命的无常和人生的变幻。本杰明•巴顿的人生轨迹与众不同，他见证了世间百态，体验了人生起伏。它告诉我们，无论生命如何奇特，都要珍惜每一刻，活出真实自我，传递爱与温暖。同时，影片也提醒我们要尊重每一个生命，感悟生命的可贵与美好。

Integrity Star – Li Zhuonan’s Story

Li Zhuonan joined the AXA Tianping Hebei Branch in September 2019 and currently serves as the Deputy Manager of the Hebei Branch Office. In the four years since he has joined AXA, Li Zhuonan has always kept in mind the company’s values of “honesty and integrity” in dealing with people. He does not mix personal preferences, opinions and emotions, and always focuses on the company’s business development and employees’ personal career development. He helps to ensure the accuracy of work ideas, correctness of work methods and fairness of work goals. While cooperating with channel partners, he actively avoids giving promises he cannot deliver, and strictly implements file management systems, and all plans, expenses, marketing according to company protocol, thereby ensuring the mutual interests of the channel partners and the interests of the company.

Q: How do you feel about receiving the AXA Star award?

Being awarded the AXA Integrity Star fills my heart with joy and pride. This honor is not only an affirmation of my professional ability, but also an encouragement for my continued efforts. From now on, I will shoulder more responsibilities and expectations, continue to move forward on my career path, and strive for my goals in my career. Thank you to AXA for making me a better version of myself, and thank you to all those who support and care about me. In the days to come, I will bravely meet challenges, showcase the values of AXA Star with my actions, and contribute my own strength to the development of AXA.

Q: What helps you stay confident, healthy, and happy?

Being consistent in walking to and from work. As a healthy and low-carbon way of travel, walking to and from work has many advantages in time utilization compared with other modes of travel. By walking, we can maintain a healthy body, enjoy the beautiful air of nature, and enhance self-confidence and willpower. In addition, we can also meet new friends on the way, exchange life experiences, and maintain a positive attitude. Walking to work every day not only makes us healthier and happier, but also gives us time to reflect and make us a better version of ourselves.

Q: Any books or TV series you would like to share?

Recently I rewatched “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”. This film made me deeply realize the wonders and constant change in life. Benjamin Button’s life trajectory was unique. He witnessed various situations in the world and experienced the ups and downs of life. It tells us that no matter how strange life is, we must cherish every moment, live our true self, and deliver love and warmth. At the same time, the film also reminds us to respect every life and realize the value and beauty of life.

During CIIE, AXA Tianping hosted the “Joining Hands towards the Future • AXA Sustainable Development Forum,” in response to the Central Financial Work Commission’s calls in the areas of fintech, green finance, inclusive finance, pension finance, and digital finance.

The forum invited representatives from the Shanghai Employment Promotion Center, Fudan University School of Computer Science, Fudan Science and Technology Park Development Institute, as well as senior industry professionals at Aon-COFCO and Deloitte, to jointly explore the talent demand and trends amid the digital transformation of the financial industry under the new wave of technological innovation and industry transformation, as well as the current landscape of the technology and industry talent market.

Mr. Philip YU, Chief Operating Officer of AXA Tianping, pointed out that the big data era is characterized by blockchain, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, data and that data has become an important core competitiveness. It is crucial for decision-making, innovation promotion, and problem-solving. AXA Tianping is committed to establishing a comprehensive data governance system to improve data accessibility, availability, and reusability. We actively explore data sharing and collaboration to promote the sustainable development of the financial industry.

The month of November, though soon to pass, has been truly exciting. Whether we were attending the 6th China International Import Expo or the first AXA Greater China Region Summit, we were always trying to explore how our efforts can fit into a broader picture.

On November 6, AXA Tianping was invited to participate in the 6th China International Import Expo and held a signing ceremony for first cross-border inward reinsurance contract on the newly introduced international board. Junshou WANG, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Shanghai Supervision Bureau of the State Administration of Financial Supervision and Administration, Joan Valadou, Consul General of France in Shanghai, and many other important guests witnessed this milestone moment of the Shanghai International Reinsurance Center.

We also successful held “Joining Hands towards the Future • AXA Sustainable Development Forum” on the same day. We communicated and shared with partners from all walks of life, hoping to transform the challenges faced by data governance and financial talent innovation into development opportunities to inject strong momentum into the sustainable and healthy development of the entire industry.

More than 600 elites from AXA Hong Kong and Macau, AXA Tianping, AXA Insurance Sales Co., Ltd., and ICBC AXA Life Insurance gathered to immerse themselves in the brand spirit and culture of ONE AXA. The event left behind many extraordinary and unforgettable memories.

We have also been spreading warmth and sunshine. On November 18, AXA Tianping, together with its partner Mingya Insurance Brokers, embarked on a warm winter trip for the Miyun Aiyou Ansheng project in Beijing. Our caring team shared light with children in need, sharing their experiences, and caring for their growth. In the future, we will also gather more public welfare forces to continue to ignite hope going forward.

11月6日，安盛天平应邀参加第六届中国国际进口博览会，以首批入驻临港国际再保险中心先锋险企的身份在临港展馆亮相，并隆重举行了再保险“国际板”首单国际分入合约签署仪式。再保险“国际板”首张国际再保险分入合约的签署是为上海国际金融中心建设添砖加瓦的重要举措，意义重大。

AXA Tianping was invited to participate in the 6^th China International Import Expo (CIIE) on November 6. As one of the first insurers to set up in the Lin-Gang Special Area International Reinsurance Center, AXA Tianping made a prominent appearance at the Lin-Gang Exhibition Hall and held a grand signing ceremony for the first cross-border inward reinsurance contract on the newly introduced international board. The signing represents an important milestone for Shanghai as international financial center.

From Lujiazui to Dishui Hu, China is committed to building a robust financial system and strengthening Shanghai’s position as an international financial center. AXA Tianping is glad to share the Group’s global network resources and experience, with the aim of serving the real economy and supporting the country’s modernization. 11月13日晚，首届AXA安盛大中华区高峰会在鹏城深圳隆重开幕。这是安盛大中华区4家兄弟公司——安盛香港及澳门、安盛天平、安盛保险销售和工银安盛的首次相聚。

安盛大中华区CEO尹玄慧女士携安盛大中华区各兄弟公司管理层亲临【安盛大中华 非凡之夜】，并深情致辞，“作为一家全球领先的保险公司，我们将继续加强在大中华区的投资和发展，通过整合多地资源优势，不断满足客户的多样化需求，进一步提升客户体验。”

多位安盛大中华区的实力唱将燃情出征，见证ONE AXA文化在大中华区交流融合、发扬光大。来自安盛天平山东分公司的王珂栋与安盛天平浙江分公司的李亦楠分别荣获“安盛好声音”亚军与季军。

之后，AXA安盛大中华高峰会安盛天平代表团来到香港，集体参观了位于香港尖沙咀的安盛尊尚会，沉浸式体验安盛200多年历史文化沉淀的底蕴与魅力。同时也到新锐国际地标安盛X竹翠公园参加精彩的峰会项目。

最后，作为AXA安盛大中华区的巅峰荣誉盛典，本次高峰会特意设置颁奖环节，以表彰在2023年表现优异的先进团队与个人。

安盛天平山东分公司与浙江分公司获颁规模贡献奖；上海分公司、宁波分公司和江苏分公司获颁成本优胜获。安盛大中华区CEO尹玄慧女士、安盛天平CEO左伟豪先生和安盛天平执行副总裁兼首席渠道管理和销售官周连成先生为优胜机构颁奖。

On the evening of November 13, the first AXA Greater China Region Summit was held in Shenzhen, Pengcheng. This was the first gathering of the four sister companies of AXA Greater China – AXA Hong Kong, AXA Macau, AXA Tianping and ICBC AXA.

Ms. Sally WAN, CEO of AXA Greater China, together with the management of AXA China’s sister companies, attended “An Extraordinary Night with AXA” and delivered a speech: “As a leading global insurance company, we will continue to strengthen investment in Greater China, by integrating the advantages and resources from multiple regions to continuously meet the diverse needs of customers and further enhance customer experience.”

Several talented singers from our AXA Greater China team participated in the event to promote the values of One AXA. WANG Kedong from AXA Tianping Shandong Branch and LI Yinan from AXA Tianping Zhejiang Branch respectively won the second and third place in the ‘AXA Great Voices’ competition.

Hong Kong star Jerry Lamb and Miss Asia Yang Guang were invited serve as hosts, and Yao Xi, a contestant at Sing! China was also invited to participate in the grand event with everyone. Many of our colleagues from AXA China came to witness the exchange, integration and promotion of ONE AXA culture in Greater China, and presented awards to outstanding individuals and teams.

Later, the AXA Greater China delegation came to Hong Kong and collectively visited the AXA Prime in Tsim Sha Tsui, to immerse themselves in the heritage and charm of AXA’s 200 years of history and culture. They also went to the cutting-edge international landmark AXA x Wonderland to participate in exciting summit activities.

Finally, as the pinnacle honor ceremony of AXA China, the summit specially set up an awards ceremony to commend teams and individuals that demonstrated outstanding performances in 2023.

AXA Tianping’s Shandong Branch and Zhejiang Branch were awarded the Scale Contribution Award; the Shanghai Branch, Ningbo Branch and Jiangsu Branch were awarded the Cost Excellence Award. 本月18日，公司再次携手明亚保险经纪，奔赴北京密云爱佑安生项目点，通过一次暖冬之行，为寒冬中困境儿童带来温暖与陪伴：上午，安盛X明亚的爱心团队与受助儿童分享经历，普及知识，互赠礼物，暖心互动；下午，爱心团队兵分三路，分别探访了西田各庄镇和不老屯镇的六户困境家庭，温暖陪伴，聆听心声。

首席运营官兼首席数据官余健光温馨开场，鼓励孩子们在网络时代利用好在线学习工具，积极开拓视野的同时注意上网安全、避免沉迷网络、防范网络欺诈；首席市场营销及公共事务官黄长青动情分享个人成长经历，鼓励孩子们无惧困难，追梦逐光。

随后，来自安盛和明亚的志愿者们将学习物资包亲手送到了受助小朋友们的手里，在给他们送去笔记本电脑和学习用品的同时，也寄语他们健康成长、学业有成的期许和前程美好的祝愿。

而三位受助孩子的代表也分别送出自己的画作，通过碧海青天祝愿生活工作一帆风顺，描绘“西塞山前白鹭飞，桃花流水鳜鱼肥”寓意对美好生活的向往与憧憬，以及锦鲤鱼跃带来的欢快喜庆与吉祥如意。

接下来的手工相框制作环节则将活动的温情气氛推向高潮。大小朋友齐心动手，欢乐畅言，相互分享最想留住的美好片段以及幸福瞬间。

曙光计划不仅是安盛与合作伙伴携手，共同关爱社区、关注弱势群体的举措，更是我们关心环境的一次尝试。未来，我们希冀与更多伙伴合作，集结更多公益力量，让曙光继续升起，将希望持久照亮。

Last month, AXA Tianping and its partner Mingya Insurance Brokers launched a five-city charity plan. We spread love and and advancing our responsibility to protect the innocence of children with chronic illnesses and build a better tomorrow together.

On the 18th of this month, the company once again joined hands with Mingya Insurance Brokers to go to the Miyun Aiyou Ansheng project site in Beijing. This warm winter trip brought warmth and companionship to children in need during the cold winter. In the morning, the caring team of AXA and Mingya assisted children to share experiences and knowledge, while exchanging gifts and having heart-warming interactions. In the afternoon, the team divided into three groups and visited six families in need in Gezhuang Town and Bulaotun Town in Xitian to provide companionship and listen to their stories.

Jianguang YU, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Data Officer, gave a warm opening, encouraging children to make good use of online learning tools in the Internet era, actively broaden their horizons, and pay attention to online safety, avoid addiction to the Internet, and guard against Internet fraud. Eva HUANG,  Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, passionately shared her personal growth experience and encouraged children to pursue their dreams and without fear of obstacles.

Later, volunteers from AXA and Mingya personally delivered learning material packages to the children. While sending them laptops and school supplies, they also sent them their well wishes for health and academic success.

Three children representatives also sent their own paintings to wish us success in life and work, depicting “egrets flying in front of Xisai Mountain and peach blossoms and flowing water”, which symbolizes the yearning and longing for a better life.

The next activity was making handmade photo frames, where friends of all ages worked together, talked happily, and shared with each other the beautiful and happy moments.

Project Dawn is not only an initiative by AXA to work together with its partners to care for the community and for vulnerable groups, it is also an attempt to care for oru environment. In the future, we hope to cooperate with more partners and gather more forces to illuminate hope going forward.

On October 29, 2023, the International Finance Forum (IFF) 2023 Global Annual Meeting (or the IFF 20th Anniversary Global Annual Meeting) and the 4th “IFF Global Green Finance Awards” ceremony were held. After a rigorous selection process, AXA Tianping stood out and won the fourth annual IFF Global Green Finance Award for outstanding performance in the field of sustainable development. This is not only recognition of AXA’s practices in the field of sustainable development, but also affirmation and encouragement of AXA’s contribution to promoting the development of green finance.

According to the organizing committee, the organization given this award must prove that it has made outstanding contributions to promoting green transformation, managing climate risks, and achieving sustainable goals globally or in a country/region through using financial means. The participating institutions for this year’s Awards are mainly well-known domestic and foreign institutions and industry leaders. There were many cases of global and industry firsts that showed innovation practices across multiple regions. This year, AXA received the award along with well-known companies and institutions including China General Nuclear Power Group, Ant Technology Group, Midea Group, Baidu, and the International Capital Markets Association.

The IFF was jointly initiated and established by leaders of China, the United States, the European Union and other G20 countries, emerging economies, and international organizations such as the United Nations, World Bank, and International Monetary Fund. It is a high-level standing dialogue mechanism and multilateral forum in the global financial field, and is also known as the F20. The “IFF Global Green Finance Award” was established in 2020 by the International Financial Forum and has been highly praised by the United Nations and many international organizations. The review committee is composed of 25 important Chinese and foreign financial leaders with global influence and authority, as well as elites in the financial and environmental circles. It aims to mark outstanding achievements in the field of global green finance, especially in the fields of climate investment and biodiversity finance.
