亲爱的安盛天平同事,

四月,是一年中最好的春光,虽乍暖还寒却挡不住拂面春风。

在这个三年新冠疫情阻隔后的首个春天里,我们迎来了安盛亚非首席执行官韦国敦(Gordon Watson)、安盛亚洲首席战略发展官Françoise Gilles的到访。公司管理团队汇报了2022年的业绩表现及2023年的发展规划,并就偿付能力管理、分支机构及渠道转型和ESG可持续发展等专项工作进行了充分细致的沟通。

Gordon对安盛天平在过去几年取得的成绩表示了充分肯定,尤其赞赏了团队面对疫情冲击和市场不确定性时所展现出的非凡韧性和努力。他表示,作为全球领先的保险集团,安盛拥有卓越的技术与专业能力,面对中国广阔的市场需求,发展前途将一片光明。Gordon表示,集团乐于提供发展所需的资源支持,并鼓励安盛天平充分利用资源和优势,进一步洞察客户需求,打造出满足甚至超越客户预期的产品与服务,凭借差异化优势赢得市场先机。

芬芳四月,生机勃发,市场发展信心也与日俱增。4月11日,安盛健康险论坛在泉城济南顺利启动。本次活动以“同心同行,转型求盛”为主题,围绕公司今年的业务重点——员福业务展开深入讨论,充分展示了安盛在健康保障和企业客户服务方面的综合优势。论坛期间还进行了“关爱员工,护航企业” 安盛员工福利计划首站路演点亮仪式,象征着我们为企业客户赋能增效,提供丰富多元、灵活定制的健康保障解决方案,解除企业后顾之忧,助力实体经济稳健发展。

为弘扬安盛价值观,发现和表彰为公司业务转型和发展做出卓越贡献的优秀团队与杰出个人,公司于 2022 年底开展了总裁大奖(CEO Award)与安盛之星(AXA Star)的评选活动。经过所在部门推荐,员工投票和管理层评议,最终有 9支团队荣获CEO Award荣誉,23 位员工荣膺安盛之星,恭喜你们!

本月,安盛安美3.0上线,它凝结了安盛天平本土实践与集团资源优势,是基于微信生态的一站式数字化保险及服务平台。截至月末,机构同事已经100%完成注册体验,在此我也希望更多伙伴注册和体验安盛安美,一起畅享安盛安美带来的便捷体验。

April is the best season of the year. These days are warm and cool, and particularly enjoyable when one is intercepted with a spring breeze.  

In this first spring after the three-year COVID-19 pandemic, we welcomed Gordon Watson, AXA Asia & Africa CEO, and Françoise Gilles, AXA Asia Chief Strategy Developing Officer for a visit. The company’s management team reported on our 2022 performance and our 2023 development plan. Detailed discussions on specific operations including solvency management, branch and channel transformation and ESG were carried out.

Gordon fully recognized the achievements of AXA Tianping in the past few years, especially its efforts and resilience in response to the impact of the pandemic and market uncertainty. Gordon expressed that as the world’s leading insurance group, AXA has unparalleled technical and professional capabilities. Combined with China’s vast market demand, the future of development will be bright. The Group is willing to provide the resources needed for development, and encourages AXA Tianping to make full use of resources and advantages to further understand customer needs, create products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations, and win market opportunities with differentiated advantages.

April showers bring May flowers. The confidence in China’s market development is also increasing day by day. On April 11, the AXA Health Insurance Forum was successfully held in Jinan. With the theme of “Make it better”, the roadshow centers on the business focus of this year: the employee welfare protection plan.  In-depth discussions were carried out, giving full play to AXA’s comprehensive advantages in health protection and corporate services. During the forum, there was also a lighting ceremony for the first roadshow of the AXA Employee Welfare Protection Plan, which symbolized how AXA empowers and increases efficiency for corporate customers, provides rich, diverse, flexible and customized health protection solutions, and relieves the worries of enterprises, all towards the steady development of the real economy.

To promote AXA’s company values, discover and commend outstanding teams and individuals who have made noteworthy contributions to the company’s business transformation and development, the company carried out selection activities for the CEO Award (CEO Award) and AXA Star (AXA Star) at the end of 2022 . After receiving recommendations by your departments, voted in by employees and finally reviewed by the management, 9 teams won the CEO Award and 23 employees were awarded the AXA Star. Congratulations too all!

This month, Emma by AXA 3.0 was launched, a WeChat mini program that condenses AXA Tianping’s local practice and group resource advantages into one convenient online platform. As of the end of March, 100% of our institutional colleagues have completed the registration. I hope that more of our partners will register and experience Emma by AXA, and enjoy the convenient experience it brings.

3月23日,为期一天的EC 360研讨会在安盛天平瑞明职场顺利召开。

本次研讨会由健康险事业部EC团队组织,并荣幸地邀请了集团Emerging Customer新兴客群条线亚洲及非洲区负责人Michal Matul亲临现场,全程主持研讨会。

安盛天平CEO 左伟豪为此次研讨会致开场辞,他强调了新兴客群的重要战略意义,也肯定了2022年安盛天平在EC业务上取得的骄人成绩,希望与会同事通过此次难得的机会对新兴客群业务加深认识和理解,并结合实际工作,为中国EC业务的进一步发展添砖加瓦。

包括首席市场营销与公共事务官黄长青在内的来自健康险事业部、零售险、商业险、渠道、精算、理赔、IT、运营和公共事务等各部门20余名同事参加了此次研讨会。

Michal先生介绍了新兴客群的业务范畴和业绩表现,并分享了其他市场上的精彩案例,引发了大家热烈的讨论。新兴客群项目致力于提高中低收入人群的保险意识,为他们提供可触及、可负担的普惠保险及服务,让更多的人能够受益于保险。在中国,城市定制型保险即惠民保就是最典型的代表产品之一。

与会同事纷纷表示,通过这次培训和互动,进一步了解了新兴客群业务在集团的战略地位,以及在中国市场上的发展现状和潜力。这将有助于今后更有的放矢地推动新兴客群业务在健康险、零售险、商业险等领域的进一步拓展,为公司在普惠保险板块的业务发展做出更大的贡献。

On March 23rd, the one-day EC 360 seminar was successfully held at AXATP Office.

The seminar was organized by the EC team of the Health Insurance Business Dept., and was honored to invite Michal Matul, the Asia and Africa Region Head of Group Emerging Customer, to attend and host the seminar throughout.

Kevin Chor, CEO of AXATP delivered the opening speech for the seminar, emphasizing the strategic significance of emerging customer segments, and acknowledging the impressive achievements of AXATP in the EC business in 2022. He hoped that colleagues attending the seminar could deepen their understanding of the emerging customer business and contribute to the further development of the Chinese EC business by combining it with their work.

Eva Huang, Chief Marketing and Public Affairs Officer together with more than 20 colleagues from various departments, including the Health Insurance Business Unit, Retail Insurance, Commercial Insurance, Channels, Actuarial, Claims, IT, Operations and Public Affairs, attended the seminar.

Mr. Michal introduced the business scope and performance of Emerging Customer, and shared exciting cases from other markets, which sparked a lively discussion. Emerging Customer is committed to raising insurance awareness for low-to-middle-income people and providing accessible and affordable insurance and services, so that more people can benefit from insurance. In China, the customized municipal insurance, Huiminbao, is one of the typical representative products.

Colleagues who attended the seminar expressed that through this training and interaction, they have further understood the strategic position of the emerging customer business in AXA Group, as well as its development and potential in the Chinese market. This will help to promote the further development of the emerging customer business in the fields of Health, Retail, Commercial insurance, etc. in a more targeted manner in the future, and make greater contributions to the company’s business development in the inclusive insurance sector.

AXA Tianping Wins Innovation China’s Fintech and Digital Transformation Innovation Achievement Award

安盛天平在去年8月参选由中国通信学会组织的2022年度“科创中国”金融科技与数字化转型创新成果评选,并以“打造安盛天平新一代健康险数字化业务系统”的项目成功入选“金融数字化转型优秀解决方案”,认可安盛天平推动金融科技与数字经济创新发展积极贡献。

该项目是安盛天平提升数字化能力、支撑健康险业务快速拓展,在健康险数字化建设领域的重大举措。项目对于现有健康险产品进行了全面分析,形成了产品结构的标准化,结合投保、承保、续保、批改、退保、理赔环节业务需求,打造了全新的健康险承保 理赔核心数字化系统。

公司不仅在系统设计上针对于原非车承保、非车理赔系统做了大量的改良,而且也汲取了前沿数字化技术,是一次真正意义上的数字化创新、提升业务能力的成功试点。

AXA Tianping participated in the 2022 “Innovation China” Fintech and Digital Transformation Innovation Achievement Awards Selection organized by the China Institute of Communications in August last year. The project entitled “Building AXA Tianping’s New Generation Health Insurance Digital Business System” was recognized as an “Excellent Solution for Financial Digital Transformation”, recognizing AXA Tianping’s positive contribution to promoting the innovation and development of financial technology and digital economy.

This project is a major move by AXA Tianping in the digitalization of health insurance to support the rapid expansion of the health insurance business. The project conducted a comprehensive analysis of existing health insurance products, formed a standardized product structure, and combined the business needs of insurance application, underwriting, renewal, correction, surrender, and claims settlement, to create a brand-new core digital system for health insurance.

AXA Tianping not only made multiple improvements to the original non-motor underwriting and non-motor claims system in terms of system design, but also integrated cutting-edge digital technology. This was a successful trial that demonstrated how digital innovations and elevate business capabilities.

2023年4月13日,第十三届InsurDigital数字保险峰会在上海开幕,多家保险公司代表与中高层行业嘉宾莅临峰会现场。峰会主题以“智绘保险,普惠生活”为立脚点,持续探索数字化转型新的技术应用与不同的场景实践,促进同业交流。

公司首席运营官及首席信息官余健光发表了题为《数字化科技引领业务》的演讲,向在场嘉宾介绍了安盛天平的数字化之旅,包括公司的数据文化、车险定价能力、客户旅程和办公新文化等内容,阐述了数字化在安盛天平不同场景下的应用与实践。

The 13th InsurDigital Digital Insurance Summit was held in Shanghai on April 13, 2023. Representatives and management from the insurance industry attended the Summit with the theme this year being “Intelligent Insurance, Inclusive Life”. The theme explores new technology applications and different scenarios for digital transformation to promote exchanges among industry peers.

Philip YU, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer of AXA Tianping, delivered a speech themed “Digital Technology Leading Businesses”. He gave a holistic view of AXA Tianping’s digital journey, including the company’s data culture, auto insurance pricing capabilities, customer journey and new office culture, expounding the application and practice of digitalization in different scenarios in AXA Tianping.

After the judging round by the organizing committee, AXA Tianping won the “Digital Insurance Innovation Award”, witnessed by more than a hundred insurance company guests on site, bringing more honor to the company.

Emma by AXA 3.0 has successfully launched on WeChat platform. As an integration of AXA’s local practice and AXA Group’s resource advantages, Emma by AXA is an innovative one-stop digital insurance and service WeChat mini program. Through Emma, AXA Tianping customers can conveniently complete the whole process from insurance to claims and easily access a variety of value-added services such as policy benefits, online health and insurance knowledge. AXA’s intelligent customer service and human customer service are also online 24/7 to provide instant support to customers.

During his visit, Gordon Watson, CEO of AXA Asia and Africa, took a special photo to encourage everyone to register on and experience the Emma app. As of April 25, 2023, AXA Tianping has achieved a registration rate of 98.4%, of which 26 branches have reached the 100% registration rate target. 2023年4月13日上午,安盛天平首席执行官左伟豪莅临江苏分公司指导工作,执行副总裁周连成、CEO办公室总经理戴思远随同,江苏分公司全体管理干部及职场员工热烈欢迎左总一行的到来。

首先,左总对江苏分公司去年取得的成绩给予了肯定,同时对江分2023年的发展提出了新的期许:一、要求在车险市场变化不可控因素的影响下,提前做好预判,适度调整规划节奏,实现多元化发展。非车发力,特别是健康险和商业险要主动应对,争取实现新突破;二、车险商改考验团队的经营能力,对市场变化即时调控,面对商改积极响应,做好应对举措;三、进一步加强成本管控,利润导向,实现由成本中心向利润中心的新转型;四、要求江苏分公司明确目标,做好管理规划,全力以赴,完成2023年总部下达的预算目标。

江苏分公司总经理吴波接着对分公司2022年经营情况、改善举措、2023年重点工作规划以及一季度的达成落地情况做了详细汇报。分公司总经理们也各自就分管及协管板块经营情况做了重点汇报,左总及总部领导适时对报告内容提出疑问、现场沟通并给出指导意见。

中午,左总一行与江苏分公司参会干部共进工作午餐,来自省内各地市的管理干部分别介绍了自己所在城市的特色、产业结构、历史文化和风土人情,把江苏多元文化交融的特色展现得淋漓尽致。在和谐融洽的就餐氛围中,各三级机构负责人也表达了对完成2023年经营指标的决心和信心。

下午,左总一行拜访了鑫山代理,双方就安盛品牌、产品特色和优势,及未来渠道合作的方向,进行了充分地沟通和交流。

左总一行的到来,极大地提升了江苏全体员工的信心,给分公司的经营发展指明了道路。江分将紧跟总公司战略步伐,在机遇面前主动出击,在风险面前积极应对。坚定信心,加快转型步伐;奋勇争先,实现可持续发展;目标所向,使命必达。

On the morning of April 13, 2023, CEO of AXA Tianping Kevin Chor, AXA’s Executive Vice President Liancheng Zhou, and AXA’s CEO Office General Manager Siyuan Dai visited the Jiangsu branch of AXA Tianping.

Kevin recognized the achievements of the Jiangsu branch in 2022 and put forward the following expectations for 2023: I) to foresee and adjust plans accordingly in face of uncontrollable factors in the auto insurance market, and to follow a diverse development path involving the development of health insurance and commercial insurance; II) to make relevant adjustments in response to market changes and to actively respond to the commercial reform of auto insurance; III) to be profit-oriented and to strengthen cost control, achieving the transformation from cost-centred to profit-centred; IV) to make the branch’s goals clear and manage the plans accordingly, and to fulfil the budget target issued by headquarters.

Bo WU, General Manager of AXA Tianping Jiangsu Branch, gave detailed reports on the branch’s operations in 2022, actions for improvement, key work plans for 2023, and the branch’s progress in the first quarter. Leadership from the headquarters raised questions afterwards and had on-site communications with the general managers.

Kevin, Liancheng, and Siyuan had lunch with the management team of the Jiangsu Branch. Colleagues hailing from different cities in Jiangsu introduced their hometown’s special features, industrial structure, history, and culture. During lunch, the management team also expressed the determination and confidence in achieving their operation goals in 2023.

Kevin and the accompanying delegation visited the GM Financial Service office in the afternoon, exchanging thoughts on AXA Tianping’s brand, product features and advantages, and the direction for future cooperation.

This visit boosted the confidence of all employees of the AXA Tianping Jiangsu branch and made clear the branch’s development path. The Jiangsu branch will follow the strategy laid out by headquarters and actively seek opportunities and enthusiastically respond in face of challenges. With determinationa and confidence, AXA Tianping will accelerate transformation and realize sustainable development goals.

On April 11, AXA’s “Employee Welfare Protection Plan” Roadshow, aimed at promoting the sustainable development of health insurance, was successfully held in Quancheng, Jinan. With the theme of “Make it better”, the roadshow centers on the business focus of this year: the employee welfare protection plan.  In-depth discussions were carried out, giving full play to AXA’s comprehensive advantages in health protection and corporate services, leveraging AXA’s mature experience in comprehensive care for physical and mental health to bring a different empowerment experience to corporate customers.

Eva HUANG, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer of AXA Tianping, stated, “AXA Tianping’s capital wealth, professional technical capabilities, rich product lines and high-quality customer service, nationwide layout and localization, and deep insight into customer needs are the unique advantages that distinguish AXA Tianping from other foreign-funded property and casualty insurance companies.”

AXA’s employee welfare protection plan is based off the results of the recently released 2023 AXA Mental Health Survey, and aims to provide information for individuals, businesses, healthcare practitioners, and policy decision makers, helping audiences to understand the current state of social mental health. The report gives in-depth interpretation of the various challenges faced by the young generation in today’s workplace, which highlighted the need for employers to launch mental health support programs to address the potential risk of attrition of employees.

In response to the individual needs of different corporate customers for employees’ health protection plans, AXA provides comprehensive product liability coverage, professional service, and advanced online and offline system support to ensure the practicability, professionalism, and timeliness of the insurance plan. 4月3日至4日,安盛亚非CEO韦国敦(Gordon Watson)、安盛亚洲首席战略发展官Françoise Gilles一行到访安盛天平总部及上海分公司,安盛天平首席执行官左伟豪携同总公司管理团队、分公司机构总及全体员工热烈迎接。这也是三年新冠疫情阻隔后,安盛亚洲管理团队首次巡视中国。

4月3日,甫一抵达上海,Gordon一行就马不停蹄地与安盛天平管理团队召开了业务沟通会议,回顾2022年业绩表现及展望2023年规划发展,并就偿付能力管理、分支机构及渠道转型和ESG等专项工作进行了充分细致的沟通。

在参观上海分公司的过程中,Gordon对机构业务转型成果表示了肯定,同时也对业务发展中面临的机遇及挑战提出了问题及想法。在讨论机构未来发展的话题时,Gordon重点关注了车险电销的业务情况,并提出创新方案——尝试通过安盛安美与新媒体的结合来增强与客户的互动,帮助安盛触达更多潜在客群,从而突破业务发展瓶颈。

4月4日下午,以“聚力中国,品质成长”为题的特别全员大会在总部瑞明职场召开。在2800多位员工的翘首企盼下,Gordon对安盛天平在过去几年取得的成绩表示了充分肯定,尤其赞赏面对疫情冲击和市场不确定性时所展现出的非凡韧性和努力。Gordon表示,作为全球领先的保险集团,安盛拥有无以伦比的技术与专业能力,结合中国广阔的市场需求,发展前途将一片光明。集团乐于提供发展所需的资源支持,鼓励安盛天平充分利用资源和优势,进一步洞察客户需求,打造出满足并超越客户预期的产品与服务,凭借差异化优势赢得市场先机。

在随后的互动问答环节中,Gordon以及Françoise分别回答了中国机遇与挑战、安盛亚非战略方向、安盛ESG影响力目标、女性领导力、职涯发展等一系列员工关心的问题。通过表达和传递安盛集团对中国市场的坚定信心与持续投入,把握亚洲发展机遇,实现盈利性增长等信息,两人提振了员工士气与凝聚力,更强化了对于战略转型和目标达成的信心。

From April 3 to 4, AXA Asia & Africa CEO Gordon Watson and AXA Asia Chief Strategy Developing Officer Françoise Gilles visited the headquarters and Shanghai branch of AXA Tianping. This is the first time that AXA’s Asian management team has visited China since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Gordon and Françoise met with the AXA Tianping management team, reviewing the 2022 performance, and planning the 2023 development. Detailed discussions on specific operations including solvency management, branch and channel transformation and ESG were carried out.

While touring branch offices, Gordon affirmed the achievements of the AXA’s business transformation, and raised questions on the opportunities and challenges faced in business development. On future development, Gordon focused on auto insurance telemarketing, and put forward an innovative plan—to enhance customer interaction through partnerships with new media, and help AXA reach more potential customers, so as to break through business development plateaus.

In the afternoon of April 4, a special all-employee townhall Empower China High-quality Growth was held at AXA Tianping’s headquarters in Ruiming Tower. With 2800 employees attending, Gordon fully recognized the achievements of AXA Tianping in the past few years, especially its efforts and resilience in response to the impact of the pandemic and market uncertainty. Gordon expressed that as the world’s leading insurance group, AXA has unparalleled technical and professional capabilities. Combined with China’s vast market demand, the future of development will be bright. The Group is willing to provide the resources needed for development, and encourages AXA Tianping to make full use of resources and advantages to further understand customer needs, create products and services that meet and exceed customer expectations, and win market opportunities with differentiated advantages.

During the interactive Q&A session, Gordon and Françoise answered issues that concerned employees the most including opportunities and challenges in China, female leadership, and AXA’s Asia-Africa strategic direction, AXA’s ESG impact goals, female leadership, and career development. By expressing and conveying AXA Group’s firm confidence and continuous investment in the Chinese market and the importance of grasping development opportunities in Asia to achieve profitable growth, the two boosted employee morale and cohesion, and strengthened confidence in strategic transformation and goal achievement.

On March 21, the AXA Commercial Insurance Forum and the Seminar on “Upholding Principles and Helping the Real Economy” was held in Guangzhou. AXA and nearly a hundred partners gathered in Yangcheng to share development opportunities and draw a beautiful blueprint. The theme of the forum not only responds to the call of “high-quality development” put forward by the two sessions, but also closely adheres to the current era of economic recovery and stable growth opportunities. This year is a critical year for the commercial insurance business. We have improved our professional team system, built stronger business capabilities, innovated online service models, and continued to optimize customer experience. With the introduction of the group’s superior resources and the enhancement of global underwriting capabilities and technical support, we will realize synergies between commercial insurance and corporate insurance, make breakthroughs in group insurance and special risk insurance, and become a long-term companion for the sustainable development of corporate customers.

Another piece of good news comes from the field of sustainable development. The2022 AXA Entity Sustainability Index ranking has just been released, and in this important evaluation to measure the ESG maturity of various entities, with a year-on-year increase of 16.57 points, AXA Tianping became the entity with the largest improvement in the world (75.77 points vs. 59.2 points),and ranked third in the Asian market, closely following Thailand (78.43 points) and Hong Kong (75.93 points). We would like to thank our colleagues in all relevant ESG lines for their joint efforts and dedication. At the same time, in the context of global AXA entities increasingly prioritizing ESG, we still need to make steady progress and move forward with all our strength.

During this year’s 315 period, centering on the industry theme of “building an honest consumption environment and boosting financial consumer confidence”, the company will comprehensively optimize outlet service facilities, continued to improve service levels and construction, and carry out in-depth education and publicity, which will strengthen consumer confidence. The protection of consumer rights and interests is a cornerstone and gene of sustainable development. The high-quality development we advocate and pursue must also point to a customer-centric, more sophisticated, and more modern direction, which is reflected in the practice of the corporate vision from “payer” to “partner”.

With the recovery and development of China’s economy, the whole industry will usher in a broader development prospect. In the long run, rapid technological advancements, rising consumer expectations, and increasingly complex competition are all reshaping the definition of insurance. More and more family or business customers are looking for stronger protection, and we are confident to become a more trustworthy partner.
